Sardis Platform Sandal in Cream Nappa Leather

This strappy sandal with adjustable buckle closure is set on natural cork wedge heels. Cork is a signature material used on Gabriela Hearst's Footwear collection. It is a low impact material as you don't kill the tree but shave the trunk instead. The sandals are made in premium Italian calf leather in natural colors or a rich gold color, inspired by Gabriela Hearst's collection.

After a tree reaches 25 years of age it can be stripped of its cork once every 9 to 12 years without causing damage to the tree. A single cork oak, which lives up to 200 years, can be harvested over 16 times. Any differences in color and grain that are seen on the surface are features of the material itself.
